Central to the life of the church is the activity of worship. Worship is the gathering of God's people to give God glory, honor, and praise. Worship always has as its focus God. We often think about an audience when we think of worship., perhaps because we have what in most places would be considered a stage for performance. But in the context of worship there is only one in the audience, and that one is God.
