Lexington Avenue Baptist Church
It has been wonderful to be among you several times this year! Thank you for welcoming us in your Sunday School classes. We’ll be praying for you as you seek a new pastor-that you would find someone who loves the Lord, His Word and helps/teaches it in an applicable way.

Love in Him,
Josh & Katie {Roberts}Nathan

Our sincere thanks for supporting our Project Graduation. We are so fortunate to be a part of such a caring community!

Dear LABC family,

Thank you for your loving support during my father’s last few weeks and his passing. Your hugs, sympathy cards, text messages, emails and phone calls uplifted my family more than you know. Special hugs to those of you that were able to stop by my father’s visitation and funeral. You’re a special church family, thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

In Christian love,
Joe Brummett & family

To Lexington Avenue Baptist Church members,

Thank you all for the beautiful cards following the passing of my husband Chuck in January.

The son of longtime members Dr. Charles and Pearl Sisk, Chuck and his sister Alice grew up at LABC.

I was so touched to receive notes from many of you who remember Chuck and his participation in the choir. And I am also grateful for your kind words, support and love for Alice, Chuck’s aunt, Phyllis Thomas, and cousin, Lynette Gullett.

Chuck left us much too early and is missed terribly, but we would be honored if you would join us to celebrate Chuck’s life at an open house from 1:00-3:30 pm on Saturday, June 24, at the Danville Country Club.

I would cherish the chance to see and meet many of you and share memories of this exceptional man, husband, father and friend.

Dear Members of the Lexington Avenue Baptist Church,

I wanted to start off by saying how sorry I am that it has taken me this long to tell you thank you for everything you have done for my family and me. I have often had trouble seeing the good in people, but when I have been at one of my lowest, it seems as though I’ve seen the good more than I ever had before. I appreciate you thinking of me and helping me in any way. I am truly grateful to have met you all. I will never forget your kindness and will pay it forward. I hope to make your church family proud. Again thank you for everything.

Lexington Avenue Baptist Church,

My wife and I just wanted to thank everyone for the get well cards and most importantly all the prayers that have been said for Nikki and I! They mean more to us than anything! She is doing great with her treatments and feeling better everyday! We still have a long road ahead of us, so please keep the prayers coming! God bless you all!

In Christian Love,
Tim & Nikki Coulter

To: Lexington Avenue Baptist Church

Thank you for your kindness to us over the duration of Sandy’s illness and recovery. Regaining health is a slow process, but each day is a little better.

We’re grateful for all of those who have supported us since last August. That has come from so many places, both far and near. We are blessed persons.

We are especially grateful for the people of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church who have been so gracious, and have lifted our spirits. We look forward to when Sandy is able to join me in worship with you again.

Thank you again for your ministry to us.

Bob DeFoor
