Thank You Notes, September 2014

Dear LABC family and friends,

Thank you so much for your prayers and support while I have been in seminary for the past few years at McAfee School of Theology.  This fall semester I have the opportunity to study and work in Bali, Indonesia as a part of my program.  I am extremely grateful for your encouragement and the financial support of the missions leadership team that has made this possible for me.
I will be leaving September 1, and returning December 20. While in Bali, I will be living with Tina and Jonathan Bailey.  The Bailey’s are CBF field personnel that have created and work with an arts community in Bali. I will be immersing myself in the culture while learning the art of painting, music and dance. It is in this context that I will get to see where art and spirituality meet and will be forming unique relationships around the love of the arts.
I am looking forward to learning about the Balinese culture and cannot wait to see what God has in store for me there. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your support, your prayers and your words of encouragement.  You have had the greatest influence on me as I discover my ministry and my passion for missions and global Christianity.
You will continue to be in my prayers as well. I look forward to sharing this experience with you!
Love, Kelsey Stillwell

A Dear Lexington Avenue Baptist Church,

Thank you for being a part of our annual bottles of Blessings drive. You have made a tremendous impact on our center. We are thankful for your commitment to our ministry.

We know you spent weeks passing out, filling, and collecting the baby bottles. We are so thankful for your involvement in our ministry. It is because of you that we are able to do what we do!

Beause of your gift, those we see have more hope, and we are able to offer them practical help when they are encountered with a crisis situation. We are also able to share the endless love of Jesus Christ with them.

Again, thank you for participating in our Bottles of Blessings Drive. You have made a difference and we appreciate you.

On behalf of the Thomas family, thank you for the prayers, cards, calls and visits during this difficult time of mourning the loss of my grandmother (Ma ma). Also, thank you to Phil Quinn for singing at the funeral and to Keith Stillwell for being preset through it all and being there for my family.
