Lexington Avenue Baptist Church, with the Kentucky Baptist Fellowship, is making plans to host eleven visitors from our partner churches in Morocco, including Karen Thomas Smith, September 5-14. Airline tickets have been purchased for nine of them. Three more are still working to secure visas. Three of the twelve are from our partner church in Rabat. Plans include: Partnership Celebrations in Louisville and Lexington; fellowship & worship; ministry project in Owsley County and a Nada visit; tourism; African Refugee Ministry fundraisers (Relay Run/Walk & Wednesday Supper); educational & prayer meetings; and host homes and meals. This will be an opportunity for us to strenghten our partnership and learn about the work of the church in Rabat and the minsitry with African refugees. We will have more details about how you can be involved later. See Callie Minks or Keith Stillwell if you have any questions.
