This coming Sunday, June 1st, we will share communion as a faith community. This is always a meaningful time in worship but will be even more so for me as this is my last Sunday before I leave on Sabbatical. I look forward to this time and look forward to sharing it with you. I will be on Sabbatical June 2nd through July 28th. While I am away, our staff will be available to you, as they always are. I am grateful for such a capable staff. Their giftedness, compassion, and leadership, along with that of our deacon body, make it much more easy for me to be on Sabbatical.
In addition, Brittany Stillwell Krebs will be preaching on Sundays, sharing on Wednesdays during July and offering pastoral care. She is a gifted young preacher and minister. I know you will be blessed by her presence. Thanks for making her feel welcomed and at home while she is here.
Pray for me while I am away that God will renew my spirit while I am away. I look forward to this time but will look forward to being back among the people who mean so very much to me.
