Thank You Notes, March 2014

Thank You-Lexington Avenue Baptist Church
We have always been so glad to be a part of such a warm, loving and caring church. But after where we have walked the past six weeks or so in Bernard’s serious illness, that has taken on a new dimension for us. First of all, your love & prayers is what helped sustain us when things were at their lowest and toughest. Thanks for all the many phone calls, texts, and visits during those times to assure us of your love and prayers. And for all the phone calls and visits once he got home, thank you so much. All the delicious food that you brought us was so delicious and helped us out so much, especially when he first came home and required care almost 24/7. We feel so loved! Most of all we praise God for hearing and answering all the prayers offered on our behalf and for bringing about the healing to his body. He is so much better and continues to improve daily. Thanks be to God! Please continue to pray for us that Bernard will be totally healed. We love you and thank God for such a people and church!

Dear LABC Family,
My heartfelt thanks to each of you during our family’s difficult day we have experienced. Thank you for your loving expressions of sympathy and caring with David’s passing. Thank you if you said a prayer, called, came to visit, sang a song, spoke or shed a tear with us remembering David. A special thank you to the Church Staff for being there for us, the wonderful meal after the funeral provided by the Milestones Sunday School Class, Crisis Meal Committee and Coldwell Banker VIP Realty.
David loved his Lord, LABC and its members. He ran the good race of life and touched the lives of many along life’s road. He always told me he wanted to be remembered with a smile on his face and God’s love in his heart.

Love and blessings to each of you.
