The Story for Children Begins Jan. 5
During Sunday School, the children will study the same stories as the adults and youth. We encourage families to read the stories together at home each week. There are three versions of The Story for young, middle and older children.

A Word from our Children’s Minister
Hi everyone! I’m excited to be starting the new year with you here at Lexington Avenue. I look forward to meeting and getting to know you over the next few months as we learn to serve God together. Here’s a little of my story: I grew up in Crestwood, Kentucky, and I went to Murray State University. Right now, I live in Georgetown, where I am about to begin my last semester as a student at the Baptist Seminary of Kentucky. I share my house with my husband, Adam, and our dog, Gavin, who loves to play with his Angry Bird toy. I like yellow, spaghetti, chai tea, cookie dough ice cream, and all kinds of crafts. I can’t wait to hang out with you and learn some of your story soon!
Meet Amanda Standiford
On Wednesday, January 8, after our Story Kick-off Dinner and Ice Cream Sundae Bar, our children will have a chance to meet Amanda as she leads the children and introduces The Story for Kids.
