Thank You Notes, September 2013

Dear Church Family,
Than you to those who generously brought food for the Sunday School Teacher appreciation Breakfast. We had a perfect variety of delicious dishes from which to choose. Thank you also to Paula Scott for the beautiful decorations. Our Sunday School teachers are critical to the success of our weekly Sunday School programs. The annual breakfast is just a small way to show our appreciation. Your support is what makes the breakfast such a success. All enjoyed the beautiful morning out on the plaza. Thank you again for helping us to honor our teachers.

In Christ,

Dear Lexington Avenue Baptist Church:
Thank you so much for your generous gift of $500.00. All of us at Boyle County Habitat for Humanity want your congregation to know how very much we appreciate your support. You join us in extending a “hand up,” not a “hand out,” as we strive to provide decent housing for many of God’s children. Again, thank you. We are truly grateful.

Office Manager

Dear Church Family,

Our sincere thanks to all of the wonderful people at LABC. Your cards, phone calls and prayers meant so much. Your prayers brought Phil through his surgery and complications after. Again our thanks and God bless you.

Dear Dr. Valentine:
Thank you so much for your recent gift to Campbellsville University in the amount of $100.00 for the Big Maroon Men’s Golf program.
Your gift comes as we are experiencing some very exciting changes that are continuing to build on Campbellsville University a strong foundation of the past, yet will allow us to serve “this next generation of servant leaders.” Campbellsville University is ranked as a top regional university in the south by US news and World Report. Campbellsville University is also in her 23rd semester of record enrollment and, with this growth, our needs continue to emerge. Through the years, many people have given of their time, energy, and resources so that we can provide the type of character building and education that will impact our world through the love of Christ.
We realize that making a gift in this day and time is not easy and we deeply appreciate your commitment to Christian higher education and to Campbellsville University. We feel that learning how to be a lifelong Christian servant is the most rewarding way to improve our world. Your support as well as many other supportive alumni and friends enable our dedicated faculty, staff, and coaches to continue preparing men and women for a life of service.
This acknowledgment will serve to satisfy the IRS substantiation requirement that the University provided no goods or services in exchange for your contribution. Your name will be listed in our President’s Annual Report unless we are notified of your desire to remain anonymous. God Bless you and your gift.
Most cordially,
Michael V. Carter, President

I want to thank everyone for the cards I have received and keeping me on the prayer list. I have started another round of chemo and am blessed that the side effects have not been very bad so far. I trust my doctor and have faith in God that he will guide her in my treatment and recovery. Thanks again and God bless of all of you.

Dear Pastor Valentine,
We are grateful for you support and recent donation of $225.87. What blessing! We are currently in a transition phase of our ministry. We are in the process of hiring a new Executive Director to lead our center. As we begin this new chapter at the Danville Pregnancy Resource Center we look forward to God’s mighty work! We are in need of funds as we transition and I want to thank you for partnering with us!
We have already seen 232 clients this year (saw 256 last year!); so we have almost surpassed last years total in almost only seven months. The need is so great. Thank you for helping us to be the hands and feet of Jesus to women, girls and men in Central Kentucky.
Thank you for helping us share the message of life and hope with them. May God richly bless you!
In Christ,
Karin VanHorn, MAC
Client Advocate at Pregnancy Resource Center
