Fred Rogers once wrote, “There are three ways to ultimate success: The first way is to be kind. The second way is to be kind. The third way is to be kind” (Life’s Journey According to Mr. Rogers, p. 95).
It’s what we all learned as children. Be kind to each other. Why is it that as we grow older we forget such simple, meaningful truths we learned as children? Maybe we find ourselves always in competition with someone else.
While competition isn’t a bad thing, losing sight of what is ultimately important is bad. So try getting back to what is important—being kind to each other. I think you’ll discover ultimate success that is fulfilling.
I look forward to seeing you this Sunday
