Immediately following morning worship. Join the Children for light refreshments, visit the children’s area, and see the children’s Christmas art work they have been creating in Sunday School.

Friday, December 21, 6:00-10:00 p.m. Amazing Race to Bethlehem with our youth, art activities, story time, snacks, gift exchange, and more! Please bring a small child’s gift to donate to Salvation Army and a small wrapped gift for a gift exchange game.

Children’s Journey: Walking the Road to Bethlehem
Children’s Sunday School, Dec. 2-30 - 9:30 a.m. each Sunday
Children will travel with Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem for the Birth of Jesus and learn more about the characters in the Story:
1. Learn about the places where the story occurred.
2. Experience some of the culture of Bible times.
3. Discover what each character in the story teaches us about God.
4. Realize what this story means for their lives today.
5. Celebrate the birth of God's Son.
6. Discover the real meaning of Christmas.
Get there early so you don’t miss anything!
9:30-9:45 - Art Activity (there will be an art show on January 6)
9:45-10:00 - Large group with skit presented by Planet 56 in the Jambo Room (Preschool Missions Room)
10:00-10:30 - Bible study in Sunday School class rooms
Children’s Book: On the Road to Bethlehem
Children will recieve this illustrated children’s book which will introduce children to the characters in the story and some Bible customs. The book includes a maze and an Advent calendar with stickers.
Smart Phone App: The Journey Advent Calendar
Parent’s check out this interesting family resource: The Journey Advent Calendar App is designed to celebrate the days leading up to Christmas. There are 7 categories of activities inlcuding videos, connect the dots, coloring jigsaw puzzles, flip-card games, greeting cards, and quizzes.
