Dear Lexington Avenue Friends,

How can I say thanks for the wonderful cards, thoughts, and especially prayers during this month in the hospital and nursing home. I've labeled this the month of "tribulation and blessing."  I hope to be out and able to visit you soon. Meanwhile if you are in Louisville and have time stop by the Episcopal Church Home and visit me.

The family of Bill Peniston Jr. thanks everyone for their many expressions of sympathy in the death of my father.

Your visits to the funeral home or services, cards , calls, flowers, food and Gideon Bible donations meant so much to us and are deeply appreciated.

God's richest blessings on alll.

Dear Lexington Avenue Baptist Church:

Thank you so much for your generous gift of $100.00. All of us at Boyle County Habitat for Humanity want your congregation to know how very much we appreciate your support.

You join us in extending a "hand up," not a "hand out," as we strive to provide decent housing for many of God's children.

Again, thank you. We are truly grateful.

Sincerely,
Connie R. Mason

Thank you so much for the wonderful graduation celebration that you provided for the Nada community in June to honor Al Gray, Charlene Helton and Mark Branham.

Thank you also for the many ways that you have assisted Charlene as she prepares to enter Morehead State University. A special thank you to the deacons for the new computer for her.

Thank you for attending this year’s VBS. I loved being a chef with each and every one of you and being part of Gods wonderful recipe. I hope you had a great time making crafts, learning new songs, being part of the Bible stories, playing in recreation, listening to scraps the puppet, and much more. Be sure to give your leaders and Shawna Stomberger a big hug and thank them for an outstanding job they did for all of us at Vacation Bible School, and remember to...

Be ready for God. Give happily to God. Believe fully in Jesus. Remember Jesus often. Celebrate God forever.
