About the Nada Mission Trip
For adults, youth, and children (grades 3-6 completed). Our main project this year will be to host a big community wide graduation celebration for Charlene Helton and other Nada graduates. We want young people in Nada to see that graduation is a big deal. We will also lead worship on Sunday and present a preschool literacy book club for preschoolers, stain a handicap ramp, attend a Legends baseball game with families in Nada, eat at Miguels’ pizza and drink Ale8, and of course hang out with our friends in Nada.
Go on the Mission Trip with us:
Contact Brenda Farmer or Keith Stillwell (adults), Kyle, Justin, or Kelsey (youth), or Tara (children) to sign-up as soon as possible so that we can arrange for housing.

In this kid-friendly café full of chef's hats and aprons, pots and pans, checkered tablecloths, and chalkboard menus, kids explore the Bible as a cookbook filled with recipes for living out God's word. Upward Soccer
Upward Sports seeks to provide children with "skills for the sports arena and values for life." While training children with the athletic skills needed to participate at the next level, Upward Sports stresses biblical values—such as leadership, teamwork, integrity and respect—as much as winning. Upward is provided for K-6th grade children. LABC’S children’s ministry is considering having an Upward Soccer team. However, to be able to provide this for our children we will need many volunteers, beginning with a coach. If you are interested please contact Tara or Keith and we can get the ball rolling!!!
Extended Session workers needed!!
We have some gaps in our schedule that need to be filled. Please consider being part of our rotation to help with the children ages 3 -5, or if you are already on rotation and can pick up an extra week please let Gail or Tara know.
