Youth are unique.
And God is at work in each of our lives in unique ways. PASSPORTchoices is specifically designed with this in mind. Some youth are artists, others are into the environment. Some express themselves through cooking, while others will travel the world. As always, youth need to be given the opportunity to impact the lives of those around them through hands on missions. PASSPORTchoices is designed to help campers explore the reality that they are uniquely and wonderfully made and encourage them to make great choices as they discover who God is creating them to become!
The world is a beautiful place and each of us is a part of that beauty. Participants in Skin Deep will dive deeper into the image of self and discover beauty together. Participants will learn to see themselves the way God intended while learning to care for their body and soul.
The drama of Scripture and the drama that fills our everyday lives are not without meaning and purpose. Participants in Curtain Call will explore the power of drama in expressing one's self, shaping others' souls, and following Christ in community.
Games can be both lots of fun and powerfully educational. Participants in Huddle Up will discover team dynamics, creative play, and leadership development all while playing and leading games.
Participants in Missions will spend time putting the Bible into practice and feet to their faith by investing in the lives of others. By engaging in missions at camp, youth will learn that they can do similar things at home – right in their neighborhood. Campers will be able to choose between ministering to a senior adult, caring for children or helping others repair their homes.
Christians have a Biblical mandate to care for God's creation, a mandate that predates the environmental movements thriving today! Participants in Tree Space will learn more about God's vision for our relationship to the Earth's ecosystem, and they will discover practical ways to make a difference in their homes, churches and communities.
" I will sing and make music to the Lord." (Psalm 27:6). Students will engage their creative senses as they write lyrics, make music together, and create authentic worship experiences. Participants will have the opportunity to perform for the camp and to spend intentional time uncovering the meaning and purpose of music and worship.
