LABC & Rabat, Morocco Prayer Requests
As a part of our partnership with the EEAM church in Rabat, Morocco, the LABC Global Ministries team will send to the Morocco church, our prayer requests that they will share on Friday evening at their weekly prayer meeting, and they will send their prayer requests to us each week before our weekly prayer meeting on Wednesday evening. On last Friday night, they prayed for our upcoming DiscipleNow Weekend for our youth; our Unity in the Community services; a luncheon held last Friday in Elizabethtown with Karen Thomas Smith and representatives from the churches in Kentucky that partner with one of the churches in Morocco; and our plans for our Friendship Week that is being planned for May. If you have suggestions that we might send to them with our prayer requests for Friday of this week, please give those to Kitty Baird or Marian Gibson on Wednesday evening.

Recipe: Turkey Tetrazzini
(from Heart for Missions meal)
2 sticks butter
16 Tbsp. flour
6 cups chicken broth
2 cups non-dairy creamer
2/3 cups of a 2 lb box cheese
1/3 cup mushrooms
½ cup onion
½ cup celery
½ cup green pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lb spaghetti, cooked
3 cups cooked, chopped turkey
Melt butter and sauté vegetables. Add the mushrooms just before the flour. Stir in flour for a minute or so to make roux. Add the broth slowly stirring constantly to keep it smooth. Stir in non-dairy creamer. Add the cheese in cubes and stir until all is melted. Add cubed turkey last. Pour the sauce over cooked spaghetti. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until brown and bubbly. This recipe makes a lot and can be divided into several baking dishes. Freezes well!
