Operation Christmas Child Boxes Due November 19
The Operation Christmas Child relay team for Boyle County has asked me to remind you that November 19 is the last day to turn in your shoe boxes. This is two days earlier than expected but is necessary to avoid a last minute rush at the collection center at First Baptist in Junction City. Please place your box in the main connecting hall (between the education and sanctuary buildings) and be sure that you have followed the guidelines on the label that you will attach to your box. Operation Christmas Child is such a wonderful opportunity for all of us to share God's love with children of the world. It is estimated than an average of seven people are touched by each shoebox, including the child's family and friends. Please be generous and, if possible, invite your friends to participate, too. If you have any questions call me (number available in the church office). Thank you. --Linda Kurtz

As I receive emails of interest, I will forward them to you. Also, the Vanderpool family, Katie Roberts, and Sharon Price have their own email lists. If you are interested in any of these, I can help you get connected. --Keith

Children’s Sunday School
Children and parents, we hope you join us for Bible study each week. Children’s Sunday School has developed a Bible study plan designed to take children through the major passages and themes of the Bible. This Bible study plan can be found on our web page under, “Bible Study and Teachers Helps.” Children age three through grade 4 use a four year cycle and generally study the same themes each week in ways that are developmentally appropriate to each age group. Planet 56 (fifth and sixth graders) go through the key stories of the Old and New Testaments in order in two years. Planet 56 is currently going through the New Testament. Our younger children’s classes will begin a new unit this Sunday, November 6, “Experiencing God.” We have an excellent staff of Sunday School teachers who provide interesting and fun learning experiences for children.
