We are a Christian Network that helps people put their faith to practice through ministry efforts, global missions and a broad community of support. CBF engages in God’s mission with and among the most neglected and least evangelized people on earth. CBF Global Missions mobilizes field personnel working in over 30 countries and regions collaborating with partners worldwide. Based in Atlanta, CBF partners with 15 theological schools, 18 autonomous state and regional organizations and more than 150 ministry organizations worldwide. The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship supports more than 160 field personnel around the world. They are serving in remote villages, large cities, in the United States and in countries with little access to the gospel.
Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Kentucky is a fellowship of churches and individuals who are committed to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. The mission is three-fold: 1) to help churches partner with one another and with other organizations that share a similar philosophy and goal; 2) to provide resources for churches and individuals as they do their work; and 3) to encourage involvement in missions and ministries in local communities, throughout the state, and globally. LABC has worked closely with CBF Kentucky in the partnership with Nada in Eastern Kentucky and the Evangelical Protestant Church of Morocco.
The mission of Salvation Army is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in his name without discrimination. Our offering will help provide staffing, equipment, supplies and maintenance of the Youth Center. The Youth Center provides a gym and programming for local children and teens. A portion will go for social services, which provides financial assistance for individuals and families in crisis. Some will be used by LABC to provide food for the Salvation Army Food Bank.
“Soup’s On Us” is a weekend food ministry sponsored by Lexington Avenue Baptist Church, Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, First Christian Church, and the Presbyterian Church of Danville. On one Saturday per month we will prepare and deliver meals.
Partnership with the Evangelical Protestant Church in Rabat, Morocco and work with African migrants, and other global ministries. With the church in Morocco, we share Common Worship Services, have visited Morocco and received visitors from our partner church. $1200 goes to pay a stipend for the associate pastor of the church. Some funds will go to support ministry with African migrants who end up in Morocco after fleeing war, famine, and poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa. Half of the Global Ministries Offering will go to Haiti Missions.
Mission trips and special projects in Nada and for Mountain Hope. Part of this gift may be used to help support a missionary in Nada. Nada is a small impoverished community in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. Mountain Hope is the Kentucky affiliate of Together for Hope, a ministry with the twenty poorest counties in the United States. Two of these counties are in Kentucky—Owsley and McCreary.

Sunrise Children’s Services provides care and hope for hurting families and children through Christ-centered ministries. Sunrise is a home for children who have been abused and neglected — children whose lives have been scarred by unspeakable physical, sexual, and emotional abuse — and who have been removed from their homes. Our goal is to provide a place of refuge, of hope, of love, and of healing to these children whose lives have been devastated. For these children, Sunrise is a place where they can begin to feel safe, a place where they encounter adults who give unconditional love, a place where they can begin to learn that the world can be a good place.
Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, Pineville, Kentucky exists to provide theological preparation for adults called of God to Christian service. Located in Eastern Kentucky, Clear Creek provides theological training for those who might not ordinarily have the opportunity.
We support Haven Care Center through Bottles of Blessings annual offering. Haven is a non-profit organization, faith-based reaching out to our community placing Christ in the Center. Our goal is for others to desire our “Safe Haven.” Our mission is to offer FREE services, that are confidential, giving unconditional love, care, and support for those facing unplanned pregnancies through empowerment and education. We offer the following services: free self-administered pregnancy tests, onsite ultrasound for those who may be abortion vulnerable, peer counseling, education in the schools, adoption referrals, post abortion support, daily devotion/Bible studies, parenting classes, and a voucher system in place for pregnancy needs
Oneida Baptist is a Christian boarding and day school for students, Christian or non-Christian, in grades 6-12. Our mission is to provide a structured living, learning and working environment in which each student is challenged to grow mentally, physically, socially and spiritually in order to acquire an Education for Time and Eternity. At Oneida Baptist, students will meet people from across the United States and around the world. They will also experience daily chores and responsibilities, interact with Christian adults, attend daily chapel services, receive individual attention in class and have a chance to join sports or other co-curriculars.
Since June 2006, Steve Clark and Annette Ellard have been serving as Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Global Missions field personnel in Louisville through Crescent Hill Baptist Church. Their work, which began with video support work related to immigrants and refugees, soon became focused on the Karen and other refugees from Burma being resettled in Louisville and across the United States. Steve and Annette visited LABC with a Karen choir in 2009.
