Light the Candle of Love
“…But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13
This is the essence of life. It’s what God commanded us to do (love one another). But, do we really get it? Do we love only those who are close to us or live and work in our circles? Do we love only when it’s convenient? Do we understand love beyond our emotions?
I’ve recently begun following Kid President on Facebook, and I eagerly watch for his messages at www.kidpresident.com. His real name is Robby Novak, age 9, and he is full of life and ideas. Although he has Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) a brittle bone condition and has had more than 70 broken bones since birth, he is dancing through life.
Kid President (Robby) is encouraging everyone to Give! Love! and Do more!
Much like Kid President uses the Internet to send his messages to millions, we also have access to everyone in the world. Do we have heart for the strangers God places in our paths?
Our nation is at a critical crossroads and we must hurry up and show everyone how great our God and our capacity to love. We only have so many tomorrows. It’s time to wake up and send a message. Let’s be intentional and live each day with purpose, living a Christ-inspired life and loving everyone day in and day out.
As Kid President says, "Love changes everything. So fill the world with it."
